ThaiSo Catering is run by Tom and Pen, a husband-and-wife team based in High Halden, Kent.
Pen was born and raised in Thailand where her family ran a lunchtime eatery (in the Peninsular Plaza shopping mall) in Bangkok. She is passionate about cooking fresh food and brings with her a wealth of knowledge of various different Asian / South East Asian cuisines.
Pen started cooking for family and friends here in the UK and was urged to take it up as a business by everyone who tried her food. ThaiSo Catering is the result.
We believe in supporting the local economy as much as possible Our meat is supplied by Paley Farm, Cranbrook and is all free-range / grass fed. Our fish and prawns are supplied by Nortrade of Hawkhurst.
We take food hygiene and compliance very seriously and have recently been awarded a 5-star food hygiene rating by Ashford Borough Council’s Environmental Health department (inspected December 2020).
We carry full public liability insurance and undertake continuous professional development and training.
