Outside Event Catering Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment

We require a deposit of 30% of the total price quotation once agreed. Only upon receipt of the deposit will the booking be confirmed. This deposit will be deducted from the total event costs which will be issued to the you no later than one month prior to the event. Payment methods available include bank transfer, debit card, credit card, cheque and cash. We require at least 30 day’s notice of a booking prior to the event actually taking place. Payment of the balance of the invoice is payable in full 7 days prior to the event date as cleared funds in our bank account. Final guest numbers must be confirmed no later than one month prior to the event. Once your deposit has been received a receipt will be issued together with a formal confirmation email which will include your draft menu, event summary and estimated costs based on the number of guests and selections made by you.

 

Dietary Requirements and Allergies

ThaiSo Catering will endeavour to provide suitable adaptations to your menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies. We cannot however take responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no less than 25 working days prior to the event).

 

Client tasting sessions

Once a date has been secured a client tasting session is possible for bookings with a minimum of 40 guests. Sessions can be arranged mid-week only from 1pm-2.30pm and are subject to the event type and menu selected.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of a booking can prove to be extremely disruptive to our business, for whatever reason. If the reason for cancellation is not due to a fault on our part then the following notice periods and cancellation charges will apply:

 

  • Cancellation less than 30 days before the event date - you will lose your right to a refund of the deposit

  • Cancellation less than 15 days before the event date - you will be liable for 50% of the total quotation price

  • Cancellation less than 7 days before the event date - you will be liable for 100% of the total quotation price


 

Complaints Procedure

Should you have reason make a formal complaint then please make it in writing or email and we shall endeavour to respond to your complaint in writing or email within 48 hours.
